Music archivist, aficionado of everything funky, and a friend to Purée Mag, Nishant Mittal presents a series of groovy fonts he came across during his archiving sprees. These titular typefaces are derived from Indian music record covers, with their issue details mentioned in the captions. The fantastical fonts lead us on flights of fancy, where they give an elaborate feel for the music to expect from the record, taking inspiration from seemingly a variety of sources. This selection is indicative of Mittal's larger project of collecting and archiving Indian types.
